About the Slave Quarters Series

"These are paintings of slave quarters and other African American sites. They were shown in a major exhibition at the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, Hagerstown, Maryland, 2005; the Athenaeum Gallery, Alexandria, VA; the Loudoun Campus of the Northern Virginia Community College, 2007; Dulles International Airport, 2008; and at the Weinstein JCC in Richmond, VA during October and November 2008. They were exhibited at the George Washington University Virginia Campus, January to March 2009."

All works are acrylic on museum board.
